# Reports & Charts

> Learn how to use reports and charts to analyze your AI agent's performance and understand user behavior.

In Nebuly, reports are the main way to explore your data. A report is a collection of charts, each visualizing a specific metric or combination of metrics. You can use Nebuly's pre-built reports to get started immediately, or create your own custom reports to answer the specific questions that matter to your business.

## Pre-built reports

Nebuly comes with a set of default reports, each focused on a key area of analysis.

| Report | Description |
| ------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Topics Discovery** | Explore the topics users are discussing with your AI agent, how they evolve over time, and which are growing in volume. |
| **Business Risks** | Identify interactions where users express complaints or dissatisfaction directed at your company — signals that may require attention from your team. |
| **User Satisfaction** | Understand how satisfied users are when interacting with your AI agent, based on sentiment and emotion analysis. |
| **AI Agent Opportunities & Failures** | Discover the situations where your AI agent is not able to help users effectively, so you can identify gaps and prioritize improvements. |
| **ROI** | Measure the return on investment generated by your AI agent, including estimated hours saved and cost efficiency. |

## Custom reports

You can create as many custom reports as you need. Each report is a collection of charts that you configure yourself — choosing the metrics, time range, filters, and visualization type that best fit your analysis.

To create a new report, click **Add new** in the left sidebar. All your reports can be found under the **All reports** tab.

**Favorites** — you can pin any report to the sidebar for quick access by hovering over the report name and clicking the star icon.

**Report actions** — clicking the three-dot menu in the top right of a report gives you the following options:

* **Duplicate** — create a copy of the report
* **Create template** — save the report as a template that other team members can reuse
* **Add description** — add a description to the report
* **Edit order** — rearrange the charts within the report

## Charts

Each chart in a report visualizes one or more metrics. When creating a chart, you can configure:

**Chart type** — choose the visualization that best fits your data.

| Chart type | Best used for |
| ---------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| **Time series** | Tracking how a metric evolves over time |
| **Stacked time series** | Comparing multiple segments of a metric over time |
| **Horizontal bar chart** | Ranking topics, actions, or segments by volume |
| **Metric** | Displaying a single KPI value |
| **Time series distribution** | Understanding how values are distributed across time |
| **Scatter plot** | Exploring correlations between two metrics |
| **Pie** | Showing the proportional breakdown of a metric |
| **Table** | Viewing raw data in a structured, sortable format |

**Variables** — select the metric you want to visualize, such as Users, Interactions, Sentiment, Topic, ROI, and more.

**Filters** — narrow down the data by any dimension, including topic, sentiment, country, region, department, user group, tags, and many more. Nebuly supports hundreds of filter options to let you segment your data with precision.

**Group by** — split your chart by a dimension to compare segments side by side, such as grouping interactions by topic or users by country.
